Effective July 21, 2026
This policy explains how Outworkd handles location information.
Outworkd requests device location only when you initiate a feature that needs it, such as using the current address, viewing nearby businesses, loading local weather, or creating or opening a route.
Coordinates may be used to identify an address, bias address predictions, generate a mapping or route request, display nearby results, or retrieve local weather. Location may be transmitted to providers such as Google Maps Platform or a weather provider to complete the requested action.
Outworkd does not continuously track your precise location in the background. A third-party maps application may handle navigation after you choose to open a route, subject to that provider’s settings and policies.
Your browser or operating system controls permission. You may deny or revoke access at any time. Outworkd may store a client or job address and related coordinates when you save them, but does not retain a continuous history of device movement.
Location privacy questions may be sent to privacy@outworkd.app.
